Scór na bPáistí Congratulations to all who participated in the recent Scór na bPáistí competition, especially to the prizewinners!
Easter Holidays The school will close on Friday the 7th of April until Monday the 24th of April for the Easter holidays.
Ceilí Dancing and Gymnastics Ceilí Dancing sessions for all classes take place on Tuesday afternoons for the four weeks after Easter. Gymnastics will then begin for a further four weeks.
Junior Entrepreneur Programme A big thank you to all who supported our 'Bubbles and Buns Car Wash and Café' event on Friday the 31st of March. It was a great success!
Grandparents Day Thank you to all the grandparents that came and made the day so special. We hope you enjoyed the drama, music, art work and entertainment!

10 @ 10 We all took part in the Operation Transformation '10@10' – 10 minutes of exercise at 10 o'clock on the 10th of February. It was a great success and we hope to make it a regular event!
Write A Book Competition Well done to all students from 1st - 6th class on recently writing and publishing a book for the Write A Book competition.
Primary Science Fair Congratulations and well done to the 5th and 6th class students who were recently presented with an award for their science project ‘Can we improve our class’s performance in a range of Olympic events? The class displayed their project at the Primary Science Fair in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick on the 20th of January.
Drama and Yoga All classes recently took part in some Drama classes with Marsha and Yoga classes with Janet which were very enjoyable.
Lego Education As part of Galway Science Week, all students participated in a Lego Education workshop. It was a very popular workshop with all students!
Athletics Award Congratulations to Daragh Finn, Joyce McNama and Ben McNama on receiving awards from their athletics club recently.
Business Visit The 5th and 6th class students would like to thank Michael Keane from Actualise Clinical Ltd. for visiting our class to teach us about setting up and running a business as part of our Junior Entrepreneur Programme.
Cell Explorers Students from 3rd – 6th class enjoyed the visit from the Cell Explorers team in NUIG who showed us how to extract the DNA from a banana!
Go Games Our 5th and 6th class students spend a very enjoyable day at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence recently where they practised their football skills and played many games.
